48h animation jam about tea
The 48h animation jam 'Cardiff Quickdraw' takes part twice a year and this March '21 it had the topic 'together'. As a team of three Austrians living in the UK, we thought about what all of us felt belonged together with our new home. And it was: milk in tea.
As all of our team have learned to love their 8hrs of sleep a day, we took about 30 hours to create this short movie.
My part was to come up with a design, find and create assets and then do the lighting, rendering and compositing for the whole sequence. My weapon of choice was Blender Cycles combined with Natron and OptiX denoiser.
